Unlocked - The Art of Possibility | Belfius Art Gallery

Description Practical

UNLOCKED – The Art of Possibility

The exhibition UNLOCKED – The Art of Possibility takes you behind the scenes of creativity—to the moment when possibilities take shape. Where imagination, connection, resilience, process, and innovation bring masterpieces to life.

The exhibition is based on a belief that Belfius has long held: creativity is an essential driver of change and progress. Artists demonstrate how openness to the unknown opens up new perspectives, and how the creative process itself is just as meaningful as the final result.

The exhibition is organized around works from the Belfius Art Collection, which brings together ancient, modern, and contemporary art. You’ll discover works by Michel François, René Magritte, Panamarenko, Paul Delvaux, Félicien Rops, James Ensor, Koen Van Mechelen, Joris Van de Moortel, Pol Bury, Anne-Mie Van Kerkhoven, and Jan Cox, as well as the latest acquisitions by Belgian talents such as Marie Cloquet and Marie Rosen.

A total of no fewer than 73 works are on display, about 50 of which are being shown for the first time. Together, they form a multifaceted journey that illustrates how creativity is constantly evolving. Let yourself be surprised by the wealth of ideas and forms. Discover what becomes possible when imagination is given free rein.
