Book a tour

We have compiled all the answers to questions about the booking procedure here. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about a specific booking.

We are available by phone from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on +32 2 380 22 09. You can send an email to info@korei.be.

1. What are the steps of the booking process for a group activity booking?

1. Choose an activity from the offer, indicate your preferred date and time, and click on “Request a quote”. Then create an account using your email address. You will receive a code by email that allows you to log in to your profile. Have you booked before via the new Korei website? Then use the same email address to log in.

2. Under “Who is booking?”, choose “I am booking for myself” if you do not have a VAT or company number. If you are booking for an organization with a VAT or company number and wish to receive an invoice, choose “Book as a company”.
Indicate how many participants your group has and how many groups you wish to book. Do you not yet know the exact number of participants? Then enter the maximum number. Make sure not to exceed the maximum number of participants per group.
In the “Group description” field, provide as much relevant information as possible about your group. Based on this, we can select the most suitable guide for you.
Are you booking for a company and do you work with purchase orders or PO numbers? You can enter these in the quote overview. If you notice an error in your request, go back to the previous step and correct it where necessary.
Click on “Submit request”.

3. We process your request and provide you with a quote that you can accept or decline.
After acceptance of the quote, we look for a guide and, if necessary, make the reservation with the external location.

4. Once a guide has been confirmed and — if applicable — the location has given its approval, your booking is definitively validated.
If this is not possible, we will contact you to look at an alternative date together.
You can consult the details of your booking at any time by logging in to your profile on our website.

2. When can I be sure that my tour is booked?

When your reservation has been fully processed (guides confirmed and external reservations arranged), we will send you a booking confirmation email. You can always check the status of your booking via your profile on our website.

3. Why might it take several days before I receive confirmation of my tour?

Booking takes place in several steps. If you choose an interior or museum visit, we first check whether your desired date is available at the museum or interior. Once this has been confirmed, we look for a guide who best suits your group. As soon as everything is finalized, you will receive a final confirmation of your activity from us. You can track the status of your booking at any time via your account.

4. Can I indicate a preference for a guide?

Yes, you can. When making your reservation, you can enter the name(s) of the desired guide(s) in the "comments" window.

We do our best to respect your preference, but this depends on availability. If your preferred guide is unavailable, we will provide a guide with the same expertise.

5. Why do I have to pay extra for some visits?

Depending on the chosen activity, the entrance fee may or may not be included in the invoice amount from Korei Guided Tours. For each activity, we clearly communicate this on the specific activity page and on the proposal for your approval, so that you will not encounter any surprises.
For some activities, you pay the admission fee on site, so that you can benefit from personal discounts (such as Museum Pass, teacher card, youth discount, 65+ discount, etc.). For other activities, admission is included in our invoice amount.

6. When is the best time to book a tour?

Book your chosen tour at least two weeks before the desired date. This gives us enough time to find a guide and request the necessary confirmation from the location. Bookings within 10 days of the desired date are possible at an additional cost of €50.

7. Can I enter a PO number?

Yes, organizations can enter a PO or purchase order number.
During the booking process, you can enter your PO number in the quote overview.

8. Why do I need to describe my group?

By describing the group, your guide can prepare specifically. That way, the story will be tailored to the group's background, previous tours, professional and cultural knowledge. The more you share in advance, the more your tour will be a unique, tailor-made experience!

9. How large can my group be?

The maximum number of people per group depends on the location. For interior visits, this must be strictly adhered to, as these limits are often imposed by the fire department or the owner of the (fragile) interior.
For walks, there is a maximum of 20 participants per group, to ensure both safety and the quality of the experience.

The number of participants allowed is listed on the page for the desired tour. Are there more participants? Then we will split the group and provide an additional guide.

10. How can I use my gift card?

Email info@korei.be with the reference of the voucher and we will be happy to assist you further.
