Guided walk: Mont des Arts: the layered city.

The Mont des Arts district has been the political heart of the city and country for centuries. It now is home to the Parliament and the Royal Palace, but it used to house the Coudenberg Palace, where Charles V and the elite of the European nobility resided between the 12th and 18th centuries.

This part of town has also evolved spatially: during the walk, we discover the many layers that have shaped this district throughout the ages. We will delve into the history of this interesting district and look for the hidden, little-known spots and beautiful views of the city.

As its name suggests, the Mont des Arts also has a lot to offer culturally: an incredible concentration of interesting places for lovers of art, culture, and history!
