Discover the European quarter, home of the European Parliament

Sat 8 Aug 2020 • 13:30 - 15:00

Free

The European quarter is a rather unknown area. It’s high time to discover this neighbourhood!

This walk will give you a better understanding of how the European Parliament and the other European institutions work and where exactly they are located.

In addition, we will plunge into the history of this part of Brussels: we will walk through the Parc Léopold with its magnificent heritage such as the Solvay Library and the Natural Sciences Museum and pass in front of the Résidence Palace built in the inter-war period.

We will also get to know the future projects… the master plan of Christian de Portzamparc, the redevelopment of the Place Schuman, etc.

The European Quarter is also a place where people from all over Europe live and work, as evidenced by the many restaurants and cafés.

A surprising discovery!

This guided tour is free of charge, but reservation is mandatory.
